Lalita is a Kurdish visual artist whose passion for art began at an early age. Although she studied marketing, she developed her artistic skills independently, shaping a distinctive and personal style. Her work is defined by a surreal approach that blends reality with imagination, transforming familiar forms into symbolic, dreamlike compositions.
A key element of her visual language is the replacement of eyes with spirals, wings, and other symbols, reflecting the complexity of human emotions. This stems from her belief that the eyes are the window to the soul, especially the soul of a woman, which she sees as rich in contradictions, strength, and beauty.
Through her paintings, Lalita explores the inner world of human experience, where pain and hope coexist, and vulnerability meets resilience. Her work invites viewers to look beyond the surface and engage with deeper emotional and psychological layers.
